Since I discovered what an Alaskan king bed is I cannot stop thinking about young Carole taking time to visit Goose in Annapolis and dragging him around to try mattresses only to beg him to take somebody else's because they need a third opinion on which one is the better.

And so it starts a summer long adventure around Annapolis, testing every single mattress they can and quietly falling in love over which one would be the best to snuggle and which one would be the worse to sleep all together. By the time they see, and try, the first Alaskan king, the summer is almost over and Carole's kisses are as tender as Goose's arms around Slider's waist when it's just the two - or three - of them.

What's the ot4's sleeping arrangement? Ava/Beatrice in one room, and Lilith/Camilla in another? 4 technically separate rooms but they move about as needed? One massive bed for a cuddle puddle?

I think technically they have one room with a rly big bed for all 4 of them, and then another with a regular sized bed in case any of them need space. Lilith uses the spare most often, but Beatrice does too sometimes, usually when she has an early morning and doesn't want to wake her partners.

I think in terms of actual sleeping order it goes Beatrice on the outside, ava next, she's jetpacked on to lilith (who always ends up in the middle because she's Warm and also cause she likes to Hold so she can Protect) so usually it's ava on lilith's back and Camila cuddled up to her front, or some configuration thereof. Beatrice is on the outside for ease of escape and also cause it's closest to the door and she has a thing abt being between doors and her partners.
